Screenwriter
One of LA’s musical gems, the Los Angeles Master Chorale was the beneficiary of a series of Fantasy Ball fundraisers, productions that featured major talent from around the world. These events were so elaborate that the behind-the scenes-efforts and history of the Fantasy Ball were filmed, and aired on public television.

Directed the concept, design and copy for this community counseling center: the goal was to make it appealing and friendly to a range of clients.

The goal was to capture the company’s family style approach in a generational business, at the same time presenting
Mountanos as a quality roaster and supplier of premium beans. By final production, I was a minor authority on
the history of coffee, and enjoyed every minute of this project.

This catalog celebrated the private school’s forty years of progressive education, and reinforced the school’s image as a place that honoring the whole child in an atmosphere of warmth and caring, as well as high academic standards. It has been extremely successful as both a recruitment piece and fundraiser.
Publicity
When Cinema Mercantile held a sale of memorabilia/props from Hollywood sets,they hired Butterfield's Art and Auction House (now Bonham and Butterfield)to handle the event. I managed the publicity, which resulted in television coverage and lines around the block of buyers for the chairs from Rick's Cafe in Casablanca, to Belle Watling's lamp from Gone With the Wind. A fun and hugely successful project.

A subsidiary of Sony Entertainment, GSN needed a catchy piece to excite advertisers for their 24/7 channel of game shows. The designer and I created a dynamic piece that was as playful as the shows – including Hollywood Squares, and Jeopardy – and which provided an easy overview of each production, as well as targeting specific demographics.

This children’s apparel phenomenon was poised for major growth after nine years of establishing a strong, made-in-America fashion presence. I wrote a comprehensive business plan outlining their strategy for a new business model which resulted in venture capital for greater marketing efforts, expansion of a women’s line, and lucrative licensing affiliations.
